Testament Tuesday – Nothing is Too Hard for God
How often do we feel that our problems are so big we could never overcome them? Sadly, probably more times than not. But this is when we need to remember that God is bigger, greater, and can do the impossible. Why do we so often forget the power that we already have? God created us and put His spirit deep within us and through Him we are capable of so much more than we think. No matter what problem we face today, no matter how impossible things may seem we need to be reminded of these words:
“I am the Lord.. is anything too hard for me?” – Jeremiah 32:27
These words right there tell us that nothing is impossible or too hard for our God, and therefore for us. He is always going to partner with us to guide us through anything and everything we face. And although we know this to be true, it is so important for us to be conscious of our responses to our problems. It’s so easy for us to wallow in them, magnify them, or just ignore them.
We can’t allow ourselves to do any of those things. Instead, it’s when our problems are the biggest that we need to harness the strength God gives us. We need to remind ourselves that God will provide us with exactly what we need for today and that we can do ALL things through Him. In Jeremiah 33:3 God says, “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” So basically, God is telling us to CALL on Him when we are in need and He will show us the way. When we call out to God for help, He is then able to use our strength and wisdom we already have to make the next step.
So, don’t be discouraged today, however big your problems may be. There’s no need to be filled with fear when we have a ready and willing God like we do. He loves us so much and has made the promise that He will never leave us. That He will answer our prayers when we call on Him.
No matter how big our problems may be they’re never too big for our God. He will respond to our call and guide us and give us strength to do things we could never do on our own.
